Grant Girls Lacrosse

About the Club

The Grant Girls Lacrosse  club (GGL)  represents  Grant High School in Portland, Oregon.  The club fields both JV and Varsity teams which compete in the PL league, under the direction of OGLA.

Participation in GGL is open to girls enrolled in high school and living within the attendance boundaries of Grant, McDaniel, Roosevelt and Jefferson High Schools. Students are not required to attend these schools to be eligible to join the club.

The Grant Girls Lacrosse club is a Non Profit organization,  registered with the IRS as a 509(a)(2) public charity.  While the club is officially sanctioned  by Grant High School,  the program is entirely self  funded and does not receive any financial support  from Portland Public Schools.

 Mission

The mission of the Grant Girls Lacrosse Club is to provide high school age girls an opportunity to participate in the sport of lacrosse,  and in turn provide them with exposure to  the  many unique socio-cultural learning experiences and developmental benefits that come from participation in team sports.
